Functional and decorative porcelain pottery,
 garden sculpture and tile work

Cheri is well-known throughout the Midwest for her functional original hand-painted floral porcelain pottery in roses, iris, bleeding hearts and more. Recently, she has begun producing stoneware home and garden sculptures, wall fountains and tile work which are displayed throughout the rose, shade and perennial gardens surrounding her studio and home.
Artist's statement:
I have been a potter for over 30 years, first working in stoneware and then changing to porcelain in 1984. All work is fired and finished
with the intention of being used in the home.
Starting in 2005, I am making one-of-a-kind pieces in hand-painted porcelain
and working with paper clay to make large garden sculpture
and interesting hand-formed tile work. Paper clay is clay with a small percentage of paper added to help in forming and handling which burns out in the first firing making the piece lighter in weight when finished and less susceptible to cracking during the firing process.
I invite you to see the latest works "finished and under construction" at my studio which is open daily, March through December. Children are welcome. It is a working studio so art is always in progress.

Faerie Hollow Pottery Studio is open daily, 10 to 5, March through December.
