Lampworked glass
beads
Dallas has been making beads since taking classes in April 2008. He has been building hot rods & working on cars since infancy. He has taken classes in glass blowing and operated a stained glass studio for 10 years in Fort Wayne, "The Great Panes Glass Company," which is still in existence. Welding comes second nature to him so hot glass beads with a torch was a breeze. Cheri uses his creations to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants. For 2009, Dallas's emphasis on lampworked beads will be "new and different styles incorporating silver foil and unusual shapes."
